Our baristas make lattes, cappuccinos and mochas from single-origin Colombian coffee, plus hand-whisked ceremonial-grade matcha in flavors like strawberry, mango and ube — hot or over ice. Custom drinks and personalized cups are easy to add.
The cart sets up in a 6' x 5' space on one 120V outlet, indoors or out — and it set up seamlessly for one baby shower in heavy rain and cold. We're based in Forest Hills, Queens.

Melu's Cafe was started by barista Melissa Sanchez from a love for Colombian specialty coffee — and the belief that a beautiful cup, served from a mobile coffee bar, can brighten any moment.
As a Colombian-owned business, we focus on intentional brewing, meticulous quality and sustainable choices. Every drink is soft, simple and elevated, made to give you and your guests a gentle pause in the day.

Melu's coffee and matcha cart were part of my daughter's "She's Off the Market" Bridal Shower! The cart fit in perfectly to our Bridal Marketplace theme. Melu's baristas - Hoa and Noah - were punctual and professional, and both had great personalities. The coffee or matcha chosen was offered hot or over ice. All the choices made a huge hit with our guests - it worked out so well, I'm booking them again for our Wedding Farewell Brunch which is in 2 months!

Can you personalize the cups for a shower or birthday?
Yes. We make personal cups for hot and cold drinks, custom menus and signature drinks to match your theme or the guest of honor.
How much does a coffee cart cost in NYC?
Every event is quoted on its own — pricing depends on your guest count, how long you want service, your menu and any custom branding. Share your date, location and guest count in the form on this page and we'll send your custom pricing.
What drinks are on the menu?
Our base menu has espresso, flat whites, cappuccinos, americanos, vanilla, caramel and mocha lattes, hot chocolate and tea — every drink hot or iced. Specialty drinks include the matcha latte, Biscoff latte, strawberry, mango, raspberry, ube and jasmine tea matcha, matcha coconut cloud and ube latte.
What do you need from the venue?
One dedicated standard 120V outlet, a smooth flat surface and a space of at least 6' x 5' for the cart and barista. We don't need onsite water for espresso service, and the cart fits through standard doorways and elevators.
Can we have coffee and matcha at the same event?
Yes. Our coffee & matcha cart serves both from one setup — espresso drinks for the coffee lovers, ceremonial-grade matcha for everyone else.
Do you serve NYC?
Yes. We're based in Forest Hills, Queens. We bring the cart to Midtown, SoHo, Tribeca, Flatiron, Chelsea, Williamsburg and DUMBO and everywhere else in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, and we also travel across all five boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, Upstate New York and Stamford, CT.
