An event coffee cart, not a street cart
A coffee cart for events works nothing like a street cart. Ours comes to you: it rolls into your venue, office or home, sets up in a 6' x 5' space on one 120V outlet and serves only your guests.
Our baristas make every drink to order from single-origin Colombian espresso and ceremonial-grade matcha — lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, mochas and specialty matcha, hot or iced, with whole, oat or almond milk.
We've set up for weddings, baby and bridal showers, 50th birthdays, staff events, a company outing at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard and a NY Fashion Week showroom. We're based in Forest Hills, Queens, minutes from the Nassau County line.

Melu's Cafe was started by barista Melissa Sanchez from a love for Colombian specialty coffee — and the belief that a beautiful cup, served from a mobile coffee bar, can brighten any moment.
As a Colombian-owned business, we focus on intentional brewing, meticulous quality and sustainable choices. Every drink is soft, simple and elevated, made to give you and your guests a gentle pause in the day.

We had Melu’s Mobile Cafe at our event staff event and they were absolutely fantastic. We hired Melu's Cafe for a company event at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard and everyone loved the fresh handmade coffee and matcha on site. Strawberry matcha was my personal favorite. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. A must have addition if you want a coffee bar at your event.

Melu's coffee and matcha cart were part of my daughter's "She's Off the Market" Bridal Shower! The cart fit in perfectly to our Bridal Marketplace theme. Melu's baristas - Hoa and Noah - were punctual and professional, and both had great personalities. The coffee or matcha chosen was offered hot or over ice. All the choices made a huge hit with our guests - it worked out so well, I'm booking them again for our Wedding Farewell Brunch which is in 2 months!
Melisa and her crew were nothing short of amazing for my baby shower. Despite the heavy rain and cold, they seamlessly set up and treated our guests with their amazing coffee drinks! The coffee was fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. The staff was super friendly and the whole setup was adorable and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be recommending to family and friends for future events!

Good things to know
What do you need from the venue?
One dedicated standard 120V outlet, a smooth flat surface and a space of at least 6' x 5' for the cart and barista. We don't need onsite water for espresso service, and the cart fits through standard doorways and elevators.
How much does a coffee cart cost on Long Island?
Every event is quoted on its own — pricing depends on your guest count, how long you want service, your menu and any custom branding. Share your date, location and guest count in the form on this page and we'll send your custom pricing.
What drinks are on the menu?
Our base menu has espresso, flat whites, cappuccinos, americanos, vanilla, caramel and mocha lattes, hot chocolate and tea — every drink hot or iced. Specialty drinks include the matcha latte, Biscoff latte, strawberry, mango, raspberry, ube and jasmine tea matcha, matcha coconut cloud and ube latte.
Are baristas included?
Yes. Every cart comes with our baristas, who set up, handcraft every drink to order and serve your guests through the last pour — you don't have to run anything.
Can you brand the cart and the cups?
Yes. We create custom cups, menus and full cart wraps to match your logo, theme or brand identity. We've wrapped carts for Steve Madden, Credo Beauty, Brooks x FP Movement and Pelé Soccer x adidas. Share your date early so there's time to produce everything.
Do you serve Long Island?
Yes. We're based in Forest Hills, Queens, minutes from the Nassau County line. We bring the cart to Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington, Garden City and Mineola and everywhere else in Nassau County, and we also travel across all five boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, Upstate New York and Stamford, CT.
